NCR Corporation is to sell its Interactive Printer Solutions (IPS) division to Atlas Holdings. Financial terms of the transaction, which is exoected to close in the second quarter of 2016, have not been disclosed.
NCR’s IPS division is a provider of innovative consumable products and solutions for transactions, logistics and business processes in the retail, financial, hospitality, e-commerce, warehousing, distribution and manufacturing industries. The division provides a comprehensive suite of solutions including stock and custom colour-printed paper receipt rolls, pressure-sensitive label solutions, impact inking and thermal transfer ribbons, as well as other transaction related consumable products.

Independent institutional and private client service provider JTC has extended the capabilities of its Cayman Islands office to offer a broad range of fund administration services, following the completion of its acquisition of GAM’s Cayman Islands fund administration business.
Having announced the acquisition in October and with full regulatory approvals from the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority now granted, JTC believes it is strongly positioned to provide a full spectrum of fund administration services, adding to the private client services it already offers from the jurisdiction, where it has had a presence since 2013.

Middle-market private equity firm Highlander Partners has acquired 60 per cent majority stake in QFG, a Polish convenience food producer. QFG will use the proceeds to invest in increasing its production capacity.
Following Highlander Partners’ acquisition, the founders of QFG have retained ownership of a 40 per cent stake. The capital increase will be invested in the company’s production ability, including the development of QFG’s third plant in central Poland, and an additional investment in innovative technologies for the production process.
