Harvest Partners SCF has made an investment in LAZ Karp Partners (LAZ Parking), a Connecticut-based national provider of parking management services. Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
LAZ Parking is the third largest parking operator in the United States with operations in over 2,100 locations across 29 states and 265 cities. LAZ offers a vast array of parking services including facility management, billing, collections, maintenance, valet parking and shuttles. Guernsey’s financial services regulator approved 18 new investment funds during the second quarter of 2015, resulting in a total of 112 additions for the year ending 30 June 2015.
Figures from the Guernsey Financial Services Commission (GFSC) also show that the net asset value of all funds under management and administration in Guernsey fell by GBP2.3 billion (-1 per cent) during the second quarter to GBP219.9 billion. The value of deposits held by banks in Guernsey increased by GBP0.2 billion (0.2 per cent) during the same period to reach GBP83.6 billion; representing a rise of GBP6.1 billion (8 per cent)

The Runcorn-based business, which currently employs over 700 staff, owns and operates 20,000 amusement and entertainment machines across over 1,700 sites in the UK. Eaton Partners has served as the exclusive placement agent for Asian private equity firm ADV Partners (ADV) on its inaugural pan-Asia fund, ADV Opportunities Fund I, exceeding its target to reach USD545 million.
The fund is the fifth fundraising Eaton has closed this year in Asia, bringing the total amount raised for the region to more than USD3 billion.
