Independent fund and corporate services provider Crestbridge is to expand into the Cayman Islands in response to continued growth and client demand.
Subject to regulatory approvals from the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority, Crestbridge plans to offer a range of governance services to the international funds community with the office, scheduled to open before the year’s end.
The new Crestbridge operation will be led by a team of three Cayman directors with extensive experience in the Cayman Islands working with fund and corporate structures including hedge funds, multi-manager funds, private equity, debt and insurance structures. The team will develop the
Emarsys, the B2C Marketing Cloud, has secured a USD33 million equity investment from San Francisco-based Vector Capital.
Vector’s Series A minority investment marks the first institutional funding received by Emarsys in its 15-year history. Emarsys will use the funding to support its accelerated international growth in the US and Latin American markets, invest in product innovation and expand sales and marketing teams. Sameer Kazi, former EVP of Social.com (a Salesforce.com company) and former SVP and GM of EMEA of ExactTarget, will join Matt Blodgett and Alok Pandey from Vector Capital as additions to the Emarsys Supervisory Board.

Arlington Capital Partners has acquired Ontario Systems (OS), a provider of revenue cycle management (RCM) software and solutions to healthcare providers, outsourced RCM and accounts receivable management (ARM) firms, and government clients.
For more than 30 years, Ontario Systems has served healthcare providers and their business offices with software, technology and services that help access patients, streamline and optimise complex workflows, and accelerate revenue recovery. Ontario Systems’ customers include three of the top six health systems in the US, and nine of the ten largest RCM and ARM firms, with approximately 55,000 licensed users across more than 500 locations.

Mid-market private equity firm LDC has backed the management buyout of UK based shower brand Aqualisa for an undisclosed price from Sankaty Advisors, LLC, the credit affiliate of Bain Capital, and RBS.
Aqualisa designs and manufactures a range of digital, mixer and electric showers and accessories, retailing through builders' merchants, distributors, specifiers, and showrooms.
Founded in the 1970s, Aqualisa’s patented, bi-metallic shower valve, which reduces limescale build-up, revolutionised the market in the 1980s and is still manufactured by the company today. It also launched the first digital shower in 2001 and introduced new wireless remote technology in 2005.

i2 Capital, a specialty finance firm that sponsors structured investment vehicles for the impact investment marketplace, has appointed Jonathan Stearns (pictured) and Rob Wallace as Partners.
Stearns will serving as Chief Investment Officer and Wallace as Chief Government Affairs Officer.
i2 Capital has also closed a series A funding round to support the firm’s efforts to sponsor impact investments in conservation, education and energy.

CVC Capital Partners is opening an office in Poland, extending its global network to 23 offices. Krzysztof Krawczyk (pictured), a seasoned Central and Eastern European (CEE) investor, will join CVC in October as Head of Poland and will be based in Warsaw.
The office opening follows the recent agreement to invest in PKP Energetyka, the energy unit of the Polish National Railways (PKP).
