California-based private equity firm Castle Creek Capital has invested USD15 million in common stock of Bridgewater Bancshares Inc, the holding company for Bridgewater Bank. Bridgewater plans to use the capital for strategic growth purposes which may include both organic and acquisition opportunities. NexusCrowd has launched the first investment platform in Canada that provides accredited investors with exclusive access to co-invest alongside institutional investors in deals that have reached at least 50 per cent of their funding target.
