Stanhope Capital, the global investment office, is adding significant resources in private equity to address growing client demand for further investments in this area.
Edward Clive, a Senior Director within the firm’s investment research department, has been appointed Head of Private Funds. He previously worked at Lazard and Vantage Group, and has been with Stanhope for five years. In addition, Jerome Sibony has been appointed as Head of Direct Investments.

Growth private equity firm TA Associates has completed an investment in YeePay, a payments service provider in China. Far East Horizon Ltd (HKG: 3360), a provider of tailored financial leasing and other value-added services, partnered with TA on the investment.
Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Founded in 2003, YeePay provides online and offline integrated payment solutions enabling consumers and businesses to make and receive payments via the Internet, mobile devices and phones. The Company focuses on a variety of sectors, including airline & travel, asset management, digital entertainment, education, fast moving consumer goods, insurance and telecom.
Peer-to-peer lender Lending Works is launching an Auto Income tool that allows lenders to draw down a regular income over the course of their lending term.
From 6 April, Lending Works customers will be able to elect to draw down their interest repayments, or a combination of their capital and interest repayments from the funds they are lending, creating a monthly source of income.
While peer-to-peer platforms are typically viewed as a growth tool, the Lending Works Auto Income tool transforms peer-to-peer lending into an income device for those who desire it.

Danish/Swedish lower mid-market private equity investor Polaris Private Equity has appointed two new members to its team.
Martin Lindh joins the firm as investment manager from SEB, while Thorsten Madsen, who also joins as a investment manager, was previously with Implement Consulting Group.

Investec Investment Banking (Investec) has appointed Serge Rissi as a Director in the Financial Sponsor Transaction Group, reporting to Christian Hess.
Rissi has 15 years of M&A execution experience. He was most recently a Director at Quayle Munro having originally joined UBS Warburg before spending more than a decade at Hawkpoint.
Rissi’s appointment further strengthens Investec’s dedicated private equity advisory group, which focusses exclusively on Financial Sponsor M&A sell-side and buy-side transactions.

ARX Equity Partners, together with experienced healthcare investor Joseph Priel, has completed the 100% buy-out of Slovenian healthcare services provider, Diagnosticni Center Bled doo (DCB).
Details of the transaction have not been disclosed.
DCB is the largest private healthcare service provider in Slovenia. The Company provides comprehensive outpatient and inpatient medical services in four locations. DCB performs more than 20,000 specialist examinations each year, primarily in the areas of gastroenterology and urology.
