Ares Management and GE Capital’s European Senior Secured Loan Programme (ESSLP) has provided a GBP75m financing package for CVC Growth Partners’ acquisition of Wireless Logic.
The acquisition was funded by a GBP65m ESSLP Unitranche facility, which provides flexible and deliverable financing solutions of scale. In addition, a GBP10M working capital and acquisition facility was provided by GE Capital.
This deal marks the 12th transaction for the ESSLP since its inception in 2012 and brings total commitments funded to EUR1.3 billion. The EUR1.75 billion programme, the first of its kind in the European debt market, is structured to provide flexible unitranche
Private equity firm OpenGate Capital is to sell one of its portfolio companies, Kotkamills Oy, to MB Funds, an independent Finnish private equity firm focused on acquisitions in the Nordic market.
Kotkamills is located in Kotka, Finland and is a manufacturer of specialty papers and wood-based products. The transaction is expected to be complete within the next 60 days. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Funds managed by the private equity business of Neuberger Berman have acquired a minority interest in CSC ServiceWorks (CSC). Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
CSC is the largest North American route-based service provider of multi-family housing and commercial laundry services, as well as the global leader in air vending services to convenience stores and gas stations, with more than 1.4 million machines in service and greater than 3,000 associates across North America and Europe.

Lonsdale Capital Partners, a private equity firm focussed on the smaller end of the market, has appointed Andrew Chetwood as an Associate.
Chetwood will be working across the business, focused initially on deal implementation for the existing pipeline of acquisitions as well as supporting the current portfolio. He joins Lonsdale Capital Partners from EY (Ernst and Young) where he worked in Operational Transaction Services on deals in consumer goods, pharmaceuticals and oil and gas, advising clients on operational issues in transactions both pre and post deal.

Acuity Trading, the UK news analytics company, has secured SEIS financing to accelerate the company’s growth in to the retail financial market and fund development of its sentiment-based products.
