Sabre Industries a portfolio company of Kohlberg & Company has acquired FWT, a portfolio company of Satori Capital.
The business combination strengthens Sabre's position in the transmission and distribution structures sector.
"This investment in FWT is a perfect combination with Sabre. It increases our industry-leading capabilities, expands our footprint, and brings FWT's history of quality and service," says Peter J Sandore, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sabre. Blue Wolf Capital Partners has acquired a majority stake in North American Rescue (NAR), a supplier of tactical medical products, such as tourniquets, chest seals and decompression needles.
North American Rescue’s clients include the military, law enforcement and EMS first responders.
NAR’s Chief Executive Officer, Bob Castellani, and other members of the NAR management team invested alongside Blue Wolf and will remain in their current positions. Michael Ranson, Vic Caruso and Aakash Patel of Blue Wolf will join the Company’s Board of Directors. A total of GBP5.2 billion worth of construction contracts for 1,095 renewable energy projects were awarded in 2014, which includes a record amount of solar power projects worth over GBP1.7 billion.

Mitel is to acquire Mavenir Systems, a provider of software-based networking solutions for mobile carriers in a cash and stock deal valued at approximately USD560 million.
Under the terms of the merger agreement, Mitel will commence an exchange offer pursuant to which Mavenir stockholders will be entitled to elect to receive either all-cash or all-stock consideration for each share of Mavenir common stock, subject to proration, in either case with a value of USD11.08 plus 0.675 of a Mitel common share, or USD17.94 based on the closing price of a Mitel common share on February 27, 2015.

Capita Asset Services has extended its range of services for UCITS and alternative investment funds with the introduction of fully automated Annex IV reporting to both the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Central Bank of Ireland.
