Crowdfunding platform VentureFounders has helped LabMinds, a high tech British business, secure GBP2.1m of investment to fund the next stage of its development.  VentureFounders was accompanied in the raise by the Angel CoFund, who committed GBP500k to the transaction. UK private equity investor RJD Partners has invested in the MBO of family-owned Burgess Marine Limited, an independent provider of marine engineering services in the UK.   RJD has committed up to GBP11m to fund the MBO and provide funds for future national growth. Dover-based Burgess has been run by Nicholas Warren since 2008, since the retirement of his father David. With RJD’s support, Nicholas Warren will take the business forward, supported by other members of the existing Burgess management team. The transaction represents an exit for David Warren. Glennmont Partners has completed the acquisition of three operating wind farms with a total capacity of 25MW from Diamond Wind Europe and Green Power Development Holding.  The acquisition comprises three wind farms (11MW, 8MW and 6MW respectively) located in the Nord region of France.
