Fenergo has secured EUR4m of new equity funding, which will help support the company’s continued international growth and development.
The EUR4m investment is being made by The Ulster Bank Diageo Venture Fund, managed by Investec Ventures, with co-investment from existing shareholders.

The results of Deloitte’s sixth MENA Private Equity Confidence Survey has confirmed a continued optimism for growth in the regional investment activity.
There is however a shift in immediate focus for many general partners (GPs) towards asset monetization, from vintage funds and capital raising, for a new round of acquisitions.
The survey confirms that market confidence remains high with over 65 per cent of respondents expecting an increase in investment activity over the next year, primarily driven by convergence of the buyer-seller valuation gap and higher levels of free cash in both corporates and family offices.

32 Degrees Capital, a Calgary based private equity firm, has held the final closing of 32 Degrees Diversified Energy Fund II with CAD84.6m of capital commitments.
Fund II is a successor fund to 32 Degrees Diversified Energy Fund I and follows a similar investment strategy.
Launched in 2012, the fund investors are largely institutional and consist of investors from throughout North America including endowments, fund of funds investors, Canadian government agencies, family offices and high net worth investors. Thomas Capital Group served as placement agent.

Maternity clothing brand Isabella Oliver has secured GBP700,000 of growth capital investment, and GBP700,000 debt finance to fuel growth, from Santander’s Breakthrough programme.
Established in 2003, Isabella Oliver is an online retailer of clothing for women during all stages of pregnancy. The brand has grown rapidly since creation with its focus on stylish, flattering fashion appealing to pregnant women workers and high profile celebrities in both the US and the UK. Its customers include Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lopez and Natalie Portman and around a third of its sales come from customer referrals.

Headquartered in Silicon Valley, Enlighted harnesses sensors, software and analytics to increase energy efficiency in industrial, commercial and office buildings. The company’s first application, advanced lighting controls, saves companies between 50 and 70 per cent in lighting costs. In North America, Google, LinkedIn, Hewlett‐Packard, AT&T and other “Fortune 1000” companies have adopted Enlighted’s technology in the past three years. In all, Enlighted has saved more than 15 Gigawatt hours of electricity.

Monomoy Capital Partners, a New York private equity fund focused on value investing and business improvement, has acquired Escort from a consortium of investors led by Falconhead Capital.
Monomoy acquired Escort through its second fund, Monomoy Capital Partners II. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
