Align Networks, Inc (Align) has received a significant investment from global growth equity firm General Atlantic LLC (General Atlantic). The transaction closed on July 18, 2011. Harris Williams & Co acted as the exclusive advisor to Align, a portfolio company of HIG Capital, LLC (HIG).
The transaction was led by Turner Bredrup, Cheairs Porter and Michael Marcantonio of the firm’s Healthcare & Life Sciences (HCLS) Group, as well as David Kennedy from the firm’s Richmond office.

Tikehau Capital Partners has acquired an interest through a share capital increase in Angelmar Corp, a subsidiary of Socatra Group for a total value of USD280m and is now the second largest shareholder in the owner of 37,000 DWT product tankers after Socatra.
Angelmar Corp’s fleet is currently made of six 37,000 DWT product tankers built by the Hyundai Mipo, a Korean shipyard. These product tankers are chartered by first class operators for an initial three year period. HarbourVest Acquisition GmbH has extended its initial offer period for all bearer shares of Absolute Private Equity Ltd (Absolute) currently in circulation, until 26 July 11.
This extension is due to an order of the Swiss Takeover Board (TOB) dated 15 July 2011, in which the TOB confirmed that the offer as amended on 14 July 2011 complies with the statutory provisions relating to public tender offers. Actis completed the MBO of Distri-Thai in 2006. Distri-Thai was the largest distributor of foreign language magazines in Thailand and had a fast growing chain of "Bookazine" branded bookstores. Munich Re and Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co (KKR) have partnered to acquire a 49% equity stake in the existing operating assets of Grupo T-Solar, the largest European solar photovoltaic (PV) power generator. Grupo T-Solar total capex to date for these assets has been EUR1,073m.
The assets being acquired comprise a diversified portfolio of 42 solar PV plants located in Spain (34 plants) and Italy (eight plants) with aggregate installed capacity of 168 MW and a generation capacity of over 250 GWh per year of clean energy. These assets will be housed in a new company named T-Solar Global Operating
Golub Capital BDC, a business development company, originated USD113.8 million in new middle market investment commitments during the three months ended June 30, 2011.
