Irving Place Capital, a middle-market private equity firm, has appointed Michelle Pearlman as Senior Advisor. Pearlman has more than 20 years of experience in senior operational and management consulting roles for leading retail and consumer companies. Prior to joining Irving Place Capital, Pearlman was with Sears Holding Corporation, where she was a Senior Vice President and President of the jewelry business unit. Previously, Pearlman was an Executive Vice President with Ann Taylor, Inc. At Ann Taylor, Pearlman was responsible for the company’s e-commerce and direct marketing businesses. GMT Communications Partners (GMT), the European TMT-focused private equity group, has acquired Sverige Bygger AB and Norge Bygges AS through its portfolio company, DOCUgroup, for a total consideration of EUR15.2 million. This acquisition is DOCU’s thirteenth bolt-on since GMT acquired the platform in 2004.
