Maheshwar Nataraj has been appointed as the new head of BlackRock’s private credit business in India, succeeding Dhruva Agarwal, who is leaving the business after four years for family reasons, according to a report by Bloomberg.

Specialist global impact investment firm Blue Earth Capital has completed a $30m direct credit investment in Q Collection, a Singapore-headquartered vertically integrated apparel manufacturer with manufacturing operations in Bangladesh.  
Middle Eastern private equity firm Foursan Group has acquired a 33% stake in Medjool Village, Jordan’s largest vertically integrated grower, packer and exporter of medjool dates, marking its seventh investment via its third fund, FCP II. 
UK mid-market private equity firm Limerston Capital has closed its second fund, Limerston Capital Partners II, with total commitments of £245m from both existing and new LPs across the US, Asia and Europe.
