Apex Group has appointed Anne Storie, as Country Head, Cayman Islands, effective 1 December, 2022. Based in Grand Cayman, Storie will report to Georges Archibald, chief innovation officer and managing director, Americas.

London-based buyout firm BC Partners is considering a sale of UK veterinary services firm VetPartners for between £2.5 billion and £3 billion amid interest from potential buyers, according to a report by Bloomberg.
Global investment firm Carlyle is to sell its stake in Oyatsu Company, Ltd, a Japanese snack manufacturer, to DC Joes1 Co, which is owned by a fund managed and operated by D Capital, Inc.

Global alternative investment firm Investcorp is to acquire Marble Point Credit Management, a US-based CLO manager. While specific terms of the transaction have not been disclosed, the purchase price is thought to be in the region of $200 million.
Swedish truck maker Scania AB is launching a new $189.5 million (SEK2bn) venture capital fund, Scania Growth Capital II which, like the firm’s first VC fund, will be managed by East Hill Equity.
