Fortis Solutions Group (Fortis), a provider of high impact printed packaging solutions and a portfolio company of funds managed by Harvest Partners, has acquired Identi-Graphics. Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Identi-Graphics is a manufacturer and printer of pressure sensitive labels and flexible packaging products serving the snack, bakery, confectionary, cosmetic and chemical end markets in the US and Canada. The company specialises in the printing of bar wrappers for the nutritional supplement industry, in both heat and cold seal applications.

Neurofenix, a neurological rehabilitation platform that uses sensor technology to improve patient recovery outcomes, has raised $7 million in Series A funding led by AlbionVC, with additional participation by HTH, InHealth Ventures, and existing investors.
The funding will enable Neurofenix to build out its product line and invest in US expansion, including funding US clinical trials.
Founded in 2016 by Imperial graduates and Entrepreneur First alumni Guillem Singla Buxarrais (CEO) and Dimitrios Athanasiou (CTO), Neurofenix aims to revolutionise how neurological rehabilitation is delivered to drive better outcomes and recovery for patients.

JTC, a global professional services provider, has hired John Collins as senior director – Fund Services following the launch of its fund administration service in Ireland.
Collins has over 20 years’ experience within financial services having previously worked at a number of fund administrators, global custodians and high profile institutions including Euronext Dublin. In addition, his roles in Client Relationship and Business Development over the years have afforded him the opportunity to build a substantial network of industry professionals accumulated in Ireland and the Cayman Islands.

Randy Hetrick, the founder and former CEO of global fitness brand TRX, has teamed with private equity veteran Jack Daly, top acquire the business.
Hetrick founded TRX after inventing the Suspension Trainer as a SEAL Team Squadron Commander and will now lead the Company as Chairman, while Daly will serve as Chief Executive Officer.
Hetrick led TRX for more than 15 years before selling a controlling interest in the Company and moved on to found the new outdoor mobile fitness venture, OutFit.

KKR has launched the Highways Infrastructure Trust (HIT), a roads infrastructure investment trust (InvIT) in India. The new vehicle is KKR’s third InvIT in India, following the launch of the Virescent Renewable Energy Trust, India’s first renewable energy InvIT, and India Grid Trust, a transmissions InvIT.
Together, these platforms operate and manage 33 assets valued at over $3.8 billion across 22 states or union territories across India.

Cole-Frieman & Mallon (CFM), an investment management law firm, has appointed Garret Filler as a partner. Filler comes to CFM after most recently serving as President of Allometrics, a startup at the intersection of gaming and finance.
Ampersand Capital Partners has held the final closing of the firm’s latest fund, Ampersand 2022 (AMP-22) Limited Partnership, with $1.2 billion in limited partner commitments.
This fund, which is Ampersand’s eleventh primary fund since 1992, was significantly oversubscribed and held a single close less than three months after launch. Ampersand secured commitments from a diversified and global set of institutional investors including endowments, foundations, pension plans, insurance companies, funds of funds and family offices.

Tonka Bay Equity Partners (Tonka Bay) has appointed Shawn Cappello as a director. In this role, Cappello will assist in the execution of the firm’s overall investment activities.
Prior to joining Tonka Bay, Cappello was a senior director of corporate development at Albertsons Companies Inc, a national grocery retailer. Previously, he was a vice president at Cerberus Capital Management, an operationally-focused private equity firm. While at Cerberus, Cappello was responsible for all aspects of the private equity investment lifecycle, including buy side and sell side deal execution, and portfolio management.
