Revelstoke Capital Partners portfolio company Fast Pace Health (Fast Pace) has invested in First Care Clinics (First Care) to expand its clinical footprint and increase access to care for underserved rural populations. The combination results in a multi-specialty provider of rural healthcare and value-based care population health management services through a network of over 200 clinics serving over three million annual patient visits across the states of Tennessee, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Indiana, and Alabama.  Revelstoke focuses on investing in, and growing, healthcare services companies. Crunchbase, a prospecting platform powered by best-in-class proprietary data, has secured $50 million in an oversubscribed Series D funding round led by Alignment Growth. Existing Crunchbase investors including OMERS Ventures, Mayfield Fund, and Emergence also participated in the round. Crestbridge’s UK funds team has provided a comprehensive suite of administration services to support the recent successful first close of Shard Credit Partners’ inaugural technology-focused venture debt fund. Charles has raised $20 million in a Series A round led by Salesforce Ventures to become Europe’s leading conversational commerce as a service platform. Accel and HV Capital, who led the company’s seed round in 2021, also participated. Charles is an all-in-one, conversational-first operating system that is bringing everything associated with ecommerce into WhatsApp and other chat apps. Boeing has made a $50 million investment in AEI HorizonX, a partnership the company established with private equity firm AE Industrial Partners to invest in transformative aerospace technologies. The new funding will anchor AEI HorizonX’s second venture fund (Fund II), which plans to raise $250 million to support promising start-ups in future mobility, space, sustainability, digital enterprise applications, networks and security. Following its recent Annual General Meeting (8 July), the Jersey Funds Association (JFA) has elected a new-look committee as it continues to champion Jersey’s ecosystem for alternative funds.
Growth private equity firm TA Associates is to acquire Green Street, a provider of commercial real estate intelligence and analytics. Green Street’s current majority owner, Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe (WCAS), a private equity firm focused exclusively on the technology and healthcare industries, will retain a minority position in the business. Green Street Chief Executive Officer Jeffry Stuek, Jr, along with the senior leadership team, will continue leading the company.  Financial terms of the transaction, which is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2022 pending customary regulatory approval, have not been disclosed.
Veremark, a pre-employment screening and verified career credentials firm, has raised a further $8.5 million in an equity funding round led by new US venture capital investor Stage 2 Capital, just nine months after its initial $2.8 million seed round. Samaipata, a Pan-European venture capital firm also joined the round as a new investor, and several existing investors Triple Point Ventures, ACF Investors, Vulpes, and SOV provided follow-on investments, bringing the company’s total funding to $12.3 million. Veremark aims to simplify the process of checking the claims and credentials of prospective employees based around the world through its digital platform.
RedBird Capital Partners (RedBird), along with private markets investment firm StepStone Group, is to acquire a majority stake in Talent Systems, a casting software and talent marketplace for the entertainment industry. Talent Systems was formed by Co-CEOs Rafi Gordon and Alex Amin and in 2021 managed over 50,000 projects and more than two million auditions, facilitating the effective discovery, auditioning and hiring of talent across film, television, commercials, theatre and digital productions.  Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.    With the deepest pool of professional talent and project roles, Talent Systems delivers valuable solutions to all constituents
