AiVF, the developer of the first fully operational AI-based IVF software platform, has raised $25 million in a Series A round led by Insight Partners, a New York-based venture capital and private equity firm with participation from Adam Neumann’s Family Office, 166 2nd. Sustainable finance rules for fund managers are evolving quickly, but there is a risk of global divergence as regulators in Europe, US and UK move ahead with new plans.
ICG has held the final close of the ICG Strategic Equity IV fund, which is focused on GP-led secondaries, at over $5 billion in capital commitments, according to a report by Secondaries Investor. The report cites unnamed sources as revealing that the fund reached final close after just 18 months in the market having been launched in November 2020. ICG chief investment officer and chief executive officer Benoît Durteste is reported as previously saying during the firm’s annual results presentation in May that the final close would be held within the coming financial year. FalconX, a digital assets platform for institutional investors, has raised $150 million in a Series D financing round, valuing the company at $8 billion.
Stellus Capital Management (Stellus), a specialist in middle market direct lending, has appointed Bill Haverland as principal and Casey Carroll as vice president, Investor Relations. Haverland, who will be focused on building private equity relationships in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, brings more than 10 years of credit and investment banking experience to Stellus. Pensioenfonds Vervoer has agreed a capital commitment of  $300m to SDG-focused emerging market private credit manager ILX Management’s ILX Fund I, according to a report by IPE. The investment, made by Achmea Investment Management on behalf of Vervoer, has pushed  Total commitments to ILX Fund I have now topped $1.05 billion, following Vervoer’s investment, which was made on its behalf by Achema Investment Management. The fund also secured a $750m commitment from APG Asset Management in January 2022. Yes Bank is said to be on the verge of securing a $1 billion equity investment from Carlyle and Advent, according to a report by Mint. The deal has been slow to reach a conclusion owing to a current asset reconstruction company (ARC) deal employed by the bank as it looks to get rid of a large proportion of the bad loads currently on its books. Yes Bank has subsequently partnered with JC Flowers for the ARC and the fundraising agreement with the two private equity investors is now expected to close soon despite the bank also seeking shareholder approval
