Eton Solutions, the developer of the cloud-based AtlasFive family office technology platform, has raised $38 million in a Series C funding round led by new investor Navis Capital Partners (Navis). Lightspeed Venture Partners (Lightspeed) has closed Lightspeed Venture Partners XIV-A/B (Fund XIV) with $1.98 billion, Lightspeed Venture Partners Select V (Select Fund V) with $2.26 billion, and Lightspeed Opportunity Fund II (Opportunity Fund II) with $2.36 billion of committed capital. Glamorgan-based aviation business Caerdav is set to create 100 jobs following a £4 million investment from independent asset manager BOOST&Co, which will support its growth ambitions as the aviation sector continues its post-Covid recovery. Founded in 2012, Caerdav provides aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), consultancy and pilot training services to large carriers, aircraft leasing companies and private clients. The business, which is owned by Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickinson, will use the funding to expand upon its current record order book and strong new business pipeline, fulfilling the backlog of aircraft servicing requirements carried over from the Covid-19 pandemic.   
MidCap Financial, a commercial finance company focused on middle market transactions, has provided a senior secured credit facility to Echelon Fitness Multimedia LLC and Echelon Fit Canada Inc (Echelon). Proceeds from MidCap will be used on Echelon’s business needs by providing ongoing working capital for growth and expansion.
Apera Asset Management (Apera), a pan-European mid-market private debt investor, has completed fundraising for the Apera Private Debt Fund II (Fund II) and associated vehicles, with total investible capital of €1.27 billion. Apera’s Private Debt strategy focuses on senior secured unitranche financings across Europe.  The raised capital exceeds the initial target of €800 million and reflects the quality of Apera’s investment platform and performance in the provision of private credit across its core European geographies. Motility Software, a specialist in end-to-end dealer management software for specialty dealerships and backed by Serent Capital, announced today it has been acquired by The Reynolds and Reynolds Company, a leading provider of automobile dealership software and services. The two companies are joining forces to drive operational excellence at specialty dealerships across the country.
