As part of its efforts to expand its investment management business in the Americas and enhance its overall offering, Nomura Holding America Inc. (NHA) is establishing a new business line and has appointed Robert Stark, former CEO of Alterum Capital Partners, as Head of Investment Management in the Americas.
In his new role, Stark will lead the growth and development of the investment management business with a particular emphasis on private markets.
The first strategy to be brought to market will focus on providing a diversified exposure to private credit sectors. The initial distribution focus will be towards Registered Investment Advisors. NHA is going to establish a new asset management company and Robert Stark will be named CEO and Matthew Pallai will become CIO.
