Nordic Capital, a private equity firm focused on investments in the healthcare, tech and payments, and financial services sectors, has entered into exclusive negotiations regarding the acquisition of Anaqua from private investment firm Astorg.
Founded in 2004, Anaqua, is a provider of intellectual property (IP) management technology solutions serving brands and law firms around the world, including Nvidia, Honda, and IBM.
According to a press statement, Nordic Capital will support Anaqua’s global expansion plans and strengthen its market position by continuing to invest in its software platform and enhance its operational capabilities.
The financial terms of the transaction, which is subject to approval from the relevant regulatory and antitrust authorities, remain confidential, with closing expected by Q1 2025.
