Vista Equity has secured a commitment of USD260 million for its next flagship fund from the Oregon Investment Council, according to a report by BuyoutInsider.
The private equity firm, which has been under the spotlight since boss Robert Smith, admitted to tax fraud in 2020, is said to targeting USD18-20 billion forth fund, with a first close executed in April.
Vista’s last fund – Fund VII – closed in 2019 with capital commitments totalling USD16 billion.
