Palatine Private Equity (Palatine), a mid-market private equity investor, has acquired a significant minority shareholding in BK Plus, a Midlands-headquartered accountancy firm,
BK Plus, which was founded in 2021 by David Baldwin and Shaun Knight, former directors of accountancy group Baldwins, provides services for small and medium-sized enterprises. The firm has expanded rapidly since inception making 12 acquisitions, and now has ten offices across the Midland and North East with nearly 300 staff.
Palatine, which was founded in Manchester in 2005, and also has offices in Birmingham and London, focuses on strategic buy and build investments.
