Pantheon to partner with Kermiony Capital in France

Pantheon has agreed an exclusive introducer relationship in France with Kermony Capital. Paris-based Kermony Capital is led by Michael Sfez, a French national with multi-year experience of working across financial markets, including private markets. Sfez worked for Russell Investments for 19 years and served as managing director for Russell Investments France between 2011 and 2019 before founding Kermony Capital to facilitate access to marque providers of private and alternative assets.

From today, Kermony Capital will act in an exclusive capacity to introduce global private markets firm Pantheon, active in Private Equity, Infrastructure, Real Assets and Private Debt over four decades, to French professional and institutional investors.

This agreement aims to facilitate local access to Pantheon’s capabilities and expand its profile in France.

Daniela Konrath, Partner in Pantheon’s Investor Relations team, says: “Sfez combines a wealth of experience in the financial institutional market with a huge local network. Additionally, a number of Pantheon professionals have worked with Michael. Kermony Capital represents a strong cultural fit for us and we are looking forward to working together.”

“I am delighted to be announcing this strategic relationship with Pantheon. In my view, Pantheon is one of the most experienced and consistent participants in the global private markets,” says Michael Sfez, CEO (President for French version) of Kermony Capital. “The firm offers highly specialised skills, together with substantial global resources and the flexibility of providing access to key private asset classes. I believe Pantheon presents the credentials that professional French investors look for in their alternatives’ providers whilst also providing a complementary solution to the traditional options available in the French marketplace. With factors such as the “Loi Pacte” and the need of yield in this low interest environment, I am excited about the potential for private assets in the French market.”
