The Pennsylvania Public School Employees’ Retirement System board has approved new investment commitments totalling approximately $720m, including allocations to a private credit fund and two private equity funds.
According to a press statement, the $76.5bn pension fund has allocated $175m to ACORE Opportunistic Credit II, a private credit fund managed by ACORE Capital, as well as $100m to Summit Partners Growth Equity Fund XII-A and $125m to LLR Equity Partners VII, both private equity funds managed by LLR Partners.
The board also approved two significant commitments to private infrastructure funds – $100m to Peppertree Capital Fund X, and a €200m ($218m) to Blackstone Infrastructure Partners Europe.
