Aaro Capital, a cryptoassets and DLT investment specialist, has appointed three senior alternative investments professionals – Dr Mattia Rattaggi, Tushar Patel and Eric Bissonnier – to its Advisory Board.
Drawing on its members’ significant industry expertise, the Advisory Board will support Aaro Capital’s founders and senior management team in opening up the exciting and rapidly evolving cryptoasset and DLT space for institutional and other sophisticated investors as the market matures and becomes increasingly active. Their work will have a particular focus on investment and strategic matters.

Westwind Capital, a new European private equity real estate investment platform targeting Life Sciences & Innovation real estate and the Living sectors, has appointed Mark Terry as chief financial officer and chief operating officer.
With Daniel Gorzawski as founding partner and CEO, Terry joins Tristan Capital Partners, bringing over 20 years of experience in finance and real estate investment management. He will play an active role in capital raising, debt origination, investor reporting and portfolio management, as well as governance and compliance.

QED Investors, a global venture capital firm focused on investing in disruptive financial services companies, has appointed Courtney Christianson as head of investor relations.
Christianson will be responsible for increasing the global scale of QRD’s investor relations function and the scope of its sources of investment capital. She will develop and strengthen relationships with new and existing investors as well as design and manage future fundraising strategies from inception to outcome.
Christianson joins QED most recently from KSL Capital, a leader in travel and leisure investing, where she oversaw investor relations and fundraising efforts across equity, opportunistic and credit vehicles,
Partners Group, a global private markets firm, has appointed Wolf-Henning Scheider as partner and head of its Private Equity Department.
Scheider will join Partners Group at the conclusion of his current contract and will be based in the firm’s global headquarters in Baar-Zug, Switzerland.
Scheider will succeed David Layton, Partners Group’s chief executive officer (CEO), as head of Private Equity. Layton had retained leadership of the Private Equity Department after being appointed co-CEO in 2018 and sole CEO in 2021.

Venture Capital Investment Manager Deepbridge Capital has appointed Simon Thelwall-Jones to the newly created role of venture partner.
Thelwall-Jones brings a wealth of experience as a qualified Chartered Accountant, an experienced company director and a corporate finance expert; with most recent roles being investment director at MSIF followed by director of Technology Ventures for the Development Bank of Wales. The newly created role will initially be focused on working with a number of Deepbridge’s high-growth portfolio companies, whilst also working on a number of new fund opportunities.

The commercial real estate veteran will work on the acquisition, financing, and disposition of real estate assets to help drive the firm’s growth.
Landman has more than 17 years of experience sourcing, acquiring, developing and structuring multifamily, industrial and office projects nationally and globally. As a key member of the Concord investment team, Landman will lead the firm’s corporate equity and debt strategies, focusing primarily on investor relations, partnerships and joint venture structuring.

Since joining Sagewind in January 2021, Genhardt has led the firm’s investment in Federal Advisory Partners LLC and assisted with multiple add-on acquisitions across the portfolio. Prior to joining Sagewind, he was a vice president at Tailwind Capital, a middle-market private equity fund. He began his career at Oliver Wyman and was previously an associate at Riverside Partners.
