Endeavor Energy Holdings (Endeavor), an Africa-focused independent power generation company backed by Denham Capital, has appointed Brian Herlihy as Chief Executive Officer, with immediate effect.
Herlihy brings 20 years’ experience in the broader energy and infrastructure sectors during which time he has accumulated significant industry and managerial expertise, as well as a strong track record in Africa. He has been involved in over USD7 billion of project finance-related deals in Africa since 2007.

Global investment bank GCA Altium has strengthened its London team with the appointment of consumer M&A expert, Tom Barnard as Director.
Barnard joins GCA Altium as part of its leisure M&A team having spent more than a decade working in the sector, the majority of which was spent at BDO. Prior to this, Barnard completed an 18-month secondment at the LDC London Investment Team.

Ampla Finance, the legal finance provider, has appointed Natalie Player and Deborah Ward, both qualified lawyers, as Commercial Director and Partnership Director respectively.
Player takes up the role of Commercial Director, heading up the business’ partnerships team, along with taking responsibility for developing new and existing products for the market. Ward has been appointed as Partnership Director, taking responsibility for Ampla’s relationships with law firms and solicitors across the North of England and the Midlands.
Both Player and Ward join Ampla from Novitas Loans, where they were Account Directors for the last four years. Before Player’s time at the
SERB and BTG Specialty Pharmaceuticals have appointed Ben Watt as the group’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Watt is an experienced CFO with a track record of building global finance teams and integrating business acquisitions.
Watt most recently served as CFO of Crouzet, an independent manufacturer of electronic components used in heavily regulated industries. He previously worked as a Director at Eight Advisory, a Paris-based advisory firm focused on due diligence for leveraged buyout funds and large corporations, with extensive exposure to the US and international markets. He started his career in audit and due diligence at Arthur Andersen.

Dunne will partner with Jamie Wong to lead the consultant efforts across EMEA, working closely with their counterpart in North America, Lesley Nurse.

Prior to joining QED, Piedrahita was a senior associate with Los Angeles-based venture firm March Capital, an early growth, B2B fund where she focused on fintech strategy, with a particular emphasis on infrastructure.

Honeycomb, an observability platform used by high-performance engineering teams to quickly visualise, analyse, and improve cloud application quality and performance, is expanding into Europe, led by the appointment of former Pivotal, SignalFx, and Chef Software executive Andy Hawkins, as well as the close of a USD50 million Series C round.
This latest round was led by New York-based global private equity and venture capital firm Insight Partners, with participation from existing investors Scale Venture Partners, Headline (formerly e.ventures), Storm Ventures, Industry Ventures, and NextWorld Capital. Honeycomb has raised USD96.9 million of funding to date.
