Ridgemont Equity Partners, a middle market private equity firm, has appointed Anthony Cassano as a Partner in the firm’s Tech & Telecom practice.
In addition, the firm has announced the following promotions – Charles Anderson, Tim Dillon and Cay Freihofer were to Partner, Seth Peck to Principal, Tyler Houin to Vice President, and Dan Norton to Senior Associate. Karen Garrison was also promoted to Fund Controller on Ridgemont’s Finance and Operations Team.
Cassano will focus on investments in the Tech & Telecom space. He spent the last 10 years at Spire Capital Partners. Prior to that, Anthony was at
Seward & Kissel has promoted Lancelot (Lance) King, a member of the firm’s Investment Management Group in Washington DC, from associate to counsel. The promotion is effective 1 April, 2019.
King’s practice focuses on a broad range of regulatory, compliance, and transactional matters affecting investment companies and registered investment advisers. His experience includes counselling clients in the establishment, registration, and operation of registered investment companies; developing and reviewing compliance programs for investment companies and investment advisers; and counselling clients undergoing regulatory examinations.

Private equity fund administrator Gen II Fund Services (Gen II) has appointed Ian Cameron as its Chief Operating Officer (COO). Cameron will focus on strategic and operational responsibilities at Gen II and will report to the Managing Principals, Norman Leben and Steven Millner.

HarbourVest Partners, a global private markets asset manager, has opened a new office in Dublin, Ireland.
The new Dublin office expands the firm’s global footprint to ten locations, adding to its presence in Beijing, Bogota, Boston, Hong Kong, London, Seoul, Tel Aviv, Tokyo and Toronto. Craig MacDonald, Managing Director, HarbourVest Partners will oversee operations in Dublin.
