K&L Gates has appointed Michael D Cuda as a partner in the firm’s banking and asset finance practice in Dallas.
Cuda joins K&L Gates from Squire Patton Boggs.
With more than 25 years of energy and banking experience, Cuda counsels clients on domestic and international energy and oil and gas financing transactions, including upstream through downstream operations, wind and solar projects, and related financial derivatives.
His practice also involves private equity investment and specialty lending transactions across multiple industries as well as various types of multi-tier, multi-currency, and cross-border syndicated lending transactions in energy, media, and telecommunications, among other
Transport industry-focused private equity firm Greenbriar Equity Group has appointed Niall McComiskey as a managing director.
McComiskey joined Greenbriar in 2006 and has led the structuring and sourcing of a number of investments across the transportation space, with a particular focus in the aerospace, commercial vehicle, distribution and shipping sectors.
Prior to joining Greenbriar, McComiskey was a vice president at HSH Nordbank. Previously, he worked in the mergers and acquisitions group at Deutsche Bank.

First Names Group’s fund services business Moore Management has appointed Scott Madden as funds director.
Based in Moore’s head office in Jersey, Madden (pictured) brings with him operational and technical experience including significant skills in organic and inorganic build-outs.
Prior to joining Moore he headed up the integrations team at Sanne, having joined through the acquisition of State Street’s Jersey corporate business in 2014.
Recently he spent six months in South Africa integrating an acquired hedge fund administration business in Cape Town.

Reiss, owner of the global men's and women's fashion and accessories brand REISS, has appointed Christos Angelides as chief executive officer (CEO) as part of a planned succession process.
Angelides brings over 30 years multi-channel retail experience to Reiss including 28 years at Next where he served for 14 years on the main board as group product director.
Most recently he served as president of Abercrombie and Fitch based in the US.

BNY Mellon has appointed Declan Turner as a business development manager for its corporate trust team in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Turner will focus on promoting BNY Mellon’s administration solutions across all loan portfolios, including direct lending and collateralised loan obligations (CLOs).

Fraser joins Assetz Capital from Santander UK Corporate and Commercial. In this role he was a Business Development Director covering the Northern Ireland region. Fraser’s new role is to help local businesses acquire finance through the peer-to-peer platform and ensure borrowing through the Assetz Capital platform runs smoothly.

Sidley Austin is significantly strengthening its private equity, corporate and restructuring practices with the addition of eight partners to its Munich office.
The new group comprises seven partners from Kirkland & Ellis, headed by leading private equity and M&A lawyer Volker Kullmann, and Kolja von Bismarck, head of the German Banking and Financial Restructuring group at Linklaters. Joining Kullmann in the move from Kirkland are tax partner Roderic Pagel, corporate partners Björn Holland, Christian Zuleger, Marcus Klie and Nicole Schlatter, and finance/capital markets partner Markus Feil, a close-knit team who have worked together for many years.
The eight new
