Global private markets asset manager HarbourVest Partners has appointed John Toomey as the firm’s sole Chief Executive Officer effective 1 October 2024, following news that Co-CEO Pete Wilson is to retire at the end of next year.
Private equity and private credit investment firm Clarion Capital Partners has appointed Jeff Sipos as General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer. Sipos previously worked at Clarion from 2011 to 2015.

Investec Bank has expanded its direct lending platform with the appointment of Michael Miller, who will lead its newly established private credit management team and work closely with the firm’s Head of Direct Lending, Callum Bell.
