The Board of 3i Group has appointed Sir Adrian Montague CBE (pictured) as Chairman. The appointment will take effect at the conclusion of 3i’s  AGM in July 2010.   Montague, who joins the board as a non-executive director with effect from 1 June, succeeds Baroness Hogg, who took up her new role as Chairman of the Financial Reporting Council (FRC) on 1 May 2010.
