Aperture Investors, an alternative asset manager and part of the Generali Investments ecosystem, has appointed Rob MacNaughton as the newest member of its growing credit team. MacNaughton is an Associate Portfolio Manager who will head up Aperture’s New York-based credit team and support the firm’s global fixed-income strategies.
Goldman Sachs Group Inc.’s is reshuffling senior executives in its private credit unit in order to double the size of the business in the medium term, according to a report by Bloomberg. The company’s private credit unit is worth $110bn.Â
H.I.G. Capital, a global alternative investment firm with $59bn of equity capital under management, has announced that Jenny Nelson, Jennie Park, and Joe Tremblay have joined the firm’s Capital Formation Group. Nelson and Tremblay will join as Managing Directors, based in California, and Park has joined as a Principal, based in New York.
Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation has  expanded its private credit business in Asia with the hire of Yew Chuan Sima former Nomura executive.  He will join SMBC’s loan capital markets department as head of private credit distribution, Asia Pacific, according to a statement.
