SensiQ Technologies has been acquired by private equity firm TechVen Partners.
The firm plans to expand the market reach of its Label-Free Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) devices for biomolecular interaction analysis.
"We’re ready to shake things up. With new resources, we are set to expand promotion of SensiQ’s innovative Label-Free SPR technology. Our technology has already received acclaim from many opinion leaders – we’re ready to get the word out," says Tom Jobe, chief operating officer for SensiQ Technologies.
SensiQ Technologies was acquired by TechVen Partners, a private equity firm led by Colin Cumming, formerly chief executive officer of ICx Technologies. Cumming has agreed to join SensiQ Technologies as chief executive. The company’s operations were previously owned by FLIR Systems, which retains a minority interest in SensiQ Technologies.
