SAVAS Capital Marketplace, a prominent platform for cross-border investment solutions, has formed a new partnership with Palico, as it looks to broaden its reach to prospective buyers of private investments on the secondary market.
Through its partnership with Palico, the Savas Capital Marketplace will increase its access to over 1,800 secondary and non-traditional buyers of private investments.
Unlike primary investments, where investors commit capital directly to new funds, secondary transactions involve transferring existing fund commitments between investors. Traditionally, sellers have relied on financial intermediaries such as agents or brokers to manage these transactions, a process often characterised by high fees, limited transparency, and operational complexities. SAVAS Capital Marketplace aims to streamline this process through an auction-based platform, inviting multiple buyers to bid publicly on private fund investments.
SAVAS’s partnership with Palico comes as secondary market activity gains momentum, with institutional investors increasingly seeking efficient and transparent solutions for managing illiquid private investments.
