Schwartz grows emerging markets private equity team

New York-based law firm Schwartz has announced that Gil Michel-Garcia has joined the firm as partner in the global emerging markets private equity, corporate and financial transaction

New York-based law firm Schwartz has announced that Gil Michel-Garcia has joined the firm as partner in the global emerging markets private equity, corporate and financial transactions practice.
 
Michel-Garcia’s practice focuses on cross-border securities, private equity and venture capital transactions, and mergers and acquisitions.
 
He has advised companies throughout Latin America and other emerging markets, as well as in the US, Canada and Europe, on debt and equity offerings, private equity investments and mergers and acquisitions.
 
He is fluent in Spanish, French and English and is conversant in Portuguese and Italian.
 
Michel-Garcia began his legal career at Clifford Chance in New York and London. Prior to joining Schwartz, he was a senior US associate at Stikeman Elliott.
