ArtistWorks has been acquired by Growth Catalyst Partners’ portfolio company TrueFire Studios, a consortium of major online music instruction companies.
The acquisition brings together leading names and pioneers in online music education – including ArtistWorks, TrueFire, JamPlay, and FaderPro – who together span dozens of genres and instruments while delivering access to Grammy Award-winning artists, top session players, and world-renowned educators. Founded in 2008 by Managing Director Tim Leach, Baylor Klein specialises in providing M&A and corporate finance advisory services to the multinational and independent owners of household, beauty, and personal care (HBPC) assets globally. The transaction signed and completed on 8 July.

Tide, the UK’s leading business financial platform, has received just over USD100 million in Series C funding, bringing the company’s total raised to date to USD200 million. Tide is now valued at over USD650 million post-money, after only four years of operation.
The round was led by funds advised by Apax Digital, the growth equity team of Apax Partners. Anthemis, Augmentum, Jigsaw, Local Globe/Latitude, SBI, and SpeedInvest, existing investors, also participated in the round.
