SCB 10X, the venture arm of Thailand’s oldest bank, has made another investment in the decentralised finance (DeFi) sector via the fast-growing asset aggregator and portfolio dashboard, Ape Board. The company aims to resolve poor user experience, complexities in generating yield and overcome fragmentation issues in DeFi.
“SCB 10X is excited to announce our investment in Ape Board, which now has more than 350,000 users, within four months of inception. This investment will further our goal of integrating traditional finance and decentralised finance by championing projects that resolve complexity and fragmentation issues in DeFi to bring a truly user-friendly experience.
Ironwood Capital has exited its investment in Pete & Pete Container Services, Inc and Boyas Excavating Inc (Pete & Pete/Boyas), the largest privately-held integrated waste management company in the Cleveland, Ohio region.

Suntera Global has maintained momentum in its growing international funds business with the appointment of Ryan Taylor as Head of Funds for Jersey.
Taylor will play a pivotal role in establishing the firm’s funds business in Jersey, with overall responsibility for developing and managing the new fund administration team in the jurisdiction and growing its client base. Sanne Group plc (Sanne) has entered into an agreement to acquire STRAIT, a Dallas-based fund solutions company for alternative investment firms.
Founded by John Relton in 2006, STRAIT specialises in providing fund administration, financial oversight and regulatory compliance services for private equity funds, hedge funds, family offices, fund of funds, SPVs and other investment vehicles. The business is headquartered in Dallas, Texas, with more than 50 highly skilled professionals, servicing USD20 billion of assets under administration.

RO Capital Partners, the RO Group’s investment arm, has co-led a GBP1.1 million funding round, together with the Cass Enterprise Fund, in Bamboo Auctions (Bamboo), a provider of online auction technology to estate agents and auction houses.
The round was supported by follow on capital from existing investors and new angel investors.

Permira, a global private equity firm focused on growth at scale, has made a strategic investment in Adevinta ASA (Adevinta).
Funds advised by Permira have agreed to acquire approximately 125 million shares in Adevinta from eBay Inc (eBay), representing a 10.2 per cent ownership. Upon closing of the transaction, Permira Partner and Head of Consumer, Dipan Patel, will join the Board of Directors of Adevinta.
