FlixMobility, a tech-mobility company for intermodal and sustainable transport, announced more than USD650 million in new funding today based on a mix of equity and debt, valuing the business at USD3 billion.
The oversubscribed Series G funding round includes new investor Canyon Partners, a growth-oriented investment firm with a successful track record in the technology and infrastructure sectors and participation from existing investors and FlixBus founders. Existing investors include General Atlantic, Permira, TCV, HV Capital, Blackrock, Baillie Gifford and SilverLake, among others.

Private equity fund Abac Solutions has closed the sale of Isolana, the Spanish independent distributor of interior finishing and general building materials, to BME Group (owned by Blackstone) after completion of customary regulatory approvals.
Isolana, which traces its origins to 1939, was acquired by Abac Solutions in 2019. The group consists of two distribution formulas, under the brands Isolana and La Especialista, as well as the metal profiles manufacturer Isopractic and the installation company La Instaladora.

Investcorp, a global provider and manager of alternative investment products, has announced that its Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on the 2 of June approved the board’s recommendation to delist from the Bahrain Bourse and convert the company into a closed shareholding company. This remains subject to receipt of regulatory approvals and completion of the required legal process and is expected to be to completed during the third quarter of 2021.

Macfarlanes has advised Dublin-based commercial security, cleaning and support services company, Bidvest Noonan, on an agreement that will see facilities management company Cordant Services join its group.
The acquisition is the company’s fourth in 2021 and will bring the total number of employees to more than 27,000 and annual revenues beyond GBP700 million.
