Cognigy, a global leader in omnichannel Customer and Employee Service Automation with its Conversational AI platform Cognigy.AI, has raised USD44 million in Series B funding led by global venture capital and private equity firm, Insight Partners, and joined by existing investors DN Capital, Global Brain, Nordic Makers, Inventures and Digital Innovation and Growth. 
eStoreMedia, a digital shelf software for Fortune 500 brands has raised USD30 million in its first fundraise through investment by Kennet Partners and Digital+ Partners.  The firm, which already counts many of the Fortune 500 brands as its clients, will use the investment to accelerate eStoreMedia’s digital shelf automation suite for brands, as well as for expansion into new markets.   This is the first external investment in the company and both investors have significant experience in building SaaS and B2B focused businesses as they look to accelerate their growth. Propel Insurance (Propel), a privately-owned insurance agency and a portfolio company of Flexpoint Ford (Flexpoint), has acquired South Carolina-based South Risk Management (SRM), a construction-focused insurance consulting firm. The acquisition of SRM expands Propel’s presence into South Carolina and adds to the Company’s existing Southeast footprint, which includes Knoxville, Charlotte, Atlanta, and Orlando. Ikigai, a UK fintech company which combines digital banking with wealth management, has received pre-seed funding of GBP4.1 million through an oversubscribed crowdfunding campaign. 
Tactus Group, a specialist in the development of consumer technology products, has expanded into the US market with an investment into pi-top, a coding and robotics firm that specialises in improving digital skills in education.  The investment will strengthen Tactus Group’s capabilities in coding and robotics, and bolster its offering in the education sector, following success on previous projects with the UK’s Department for Education.
