CAIS, a technology platform connecting financial advisers with alternative investments, has launched CAIS IQ, a learning system designed to help financial advisers master alternative investments.
CAIS IQ reduces the alternative investment learning curve by combining expert content with predictive algorithms that adapt to how each individual adviser learns best.
According to a Preqin report, 84 per cent of investors plan to increase their allocation to alternative investments in the coming years, while a remarkable 67 per cent of financial advisers say they want to deepen their understanding of these strategies prior to implementing them.

CSC, a provider of specialised administration services to alternative asset managers, is to acquire TCS-Groep (TCS), a Netherlands-based service provider for alternative investment funds (AIFs).
TCS offers fund administration and depositary services for alternative asset managers with a focus on real estate, private equity, private debt, and social impact funds, and manages more than EUR6.5 billion in assets on behalf of its clients. The deal is subject to regulatory approval in the Netherlands.

The Citco Group of Companies (Citco) has expanded partnership with Solovis, a multi-asset class portfolio management, analytics and reporting platform for asset owners and allocators.
The strategic partnership with Solovis spans business, technology and services and includes an equity investment in Solovis. GP Bullhound has invested USD10 million in RavenPack, a provider of alternative data and insights for financial institutions.
The company’s database, comprising over 19,000 sources spanning over 20 years, is used by financial institutions who subscribe to the platform in order to enhance performance and manage risk. RavenPack will use the proceeds to expand in Asia, as well as to go into other sectors beyond financial services.
