Centaur’s newly-launched enhanced private equity service has won a major contract with a USD20 billion multi-strategy, multi-jurisdictional US headquartered private equity group.
The win came about after a detailed Request for Proposal (RFP) process, highlighting three principal requirements: service consistency that the client was not receiving from their previous administrators, stability within the service teams and administrator independence.
Centaur was selected as a result of its service, better contractual terms, independence and experience.

Ipes, a provider of outsourced services to private equity in Europe, is providing administration services to Keen Venture Partners, a new venture capital firm operating from London and Amsterdam, in the first closing of its inaugural Keen Venture Partners Fund.

Guernsey has introduced a Private Investment Fund (PIF) regime designed to provide fund managers with greater flexibility and simplicity.
The PIF, which was developed in response to market demand by the Guernsey Financial Services Commission (GFSC) in consultation with the island’s GBP247 billion funds industry, recognises that certain investment funds are characterised by a relationship between management and investors that is closer than that of a typical agent.
The PIF dispenses with the formal requirement for information particulars such as a prospectus in recognition of that relationship, significantly reducing the cost and processing time of launching of a fund.

The association aims to promote the economic development of the country by fostering local and international private equity investing; boost investments in all sectors of Argentina’s economy; generate and publish studies and statistics on the activity of this sector and its impact over the Argentine economy; coordinate public and private initiatives in the sector; and foster the adoption of best practices to encourage institutional investors to invest in Argentina's economy.
