Katipult has partnered with Mangopay to launch a disruptive lending solution in the UK, providing what it says is a “secure and flexible transaction environment to manage the incoming and outgoing payment flows”.
Launching its solution in Europe, Katipult decided to partner with Mangopay to enable platforms to hold lender funds and receive earnings in a wallet in a secure and compliant way.
Holder of an e-money issuer licence passported to all 31 EEA countries, Mangopay is a multi-currency payment solution which accepts cards, bank transfers and direct debit.

The Managed Funds Association (MFA) will host Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) chair Timothy G Massad at the Outlook 2016 Conference.
Massad will make a keynote address at the association’s annual leadership conference in New York on 21 October.

Abacus Group, a provider of hosted cloud IT solutions for alternative investment funds, has opened a second London data centre.
Tom Cole, director of client services and business development in London, says the new data centre will allow Abacus to provide resilient services to current clients and expand its capabilities to onboard more alternative investment funds.

The Channel Islands Securities Exchange (CISE) has revised its membership rules so that firms from a wider range of jurisdictions can act as sponsors to listings on the exchange.
The membership rules previously restricted sponsors to being entities established in the Channel Islands. Now they have been updated to allow sponsors to be based in any jurisdiction deemed acceptable to the exchange.
The change is effective from 10 October 2016 and reflects the rules which are already in place for members who trade on the exchange.
