Piper, a specialist investor in consumer brands, has sold Rollover Hot Dogs to Kerry Foods. The deal has been completed for an undisclosed sum. The firm represented Paragon Medical, a portfolio company of Beecken Petty O'Keefe & Company, in its acquisition of the medical device business segment of Michael Bubolz GmbH. Clearlake Capital Group has completed the sale of PrimeSport Holdings Inc to The Carlyle Group (Carlyle), Moorad Sports Partners and RSE Ventures.  As part of the transaction, Clearlake and management rolled over a significant equity stake in the company. Rcapital, the owner of global travel retailer Rolling Luggage, has completed the sale of the business to Samsonite, the world’s largest luggage manufacturer and retailer. Rcapital, the London-based private investor that specialises in the turnaround of distressed businesses, rescued the Rolling Luggage chain out of the global restructuring of the Tie Rack Retail Group in 2013. Rolling Luggage, with 36 stores in seven countries, had long suffered from both financial and operational under-investment until Rcapital bought the business and used its extensive turnaround skills to develop a thriving retail company, ultimately saving 350 jobs across the globe.  In October 2014,

Salvepar has finalized the sale of its entire stake in Thermador Groupe.  Salvepar was a shareholder of Thermador Groupe since May 2008 and had begun to divest its stake in 2014.  The sale has seen Salver realise a gain of EUR7.2 million, among which EUR5.2 million will be recognised in 2015. The aggregate sale price corresponds to 1.8 time the amount initially invested.

Morgan Stanley Global Private Equity (MSPE) has completed the sale of its majority interest in EmployBridge, a provider of specialty staffing services, to The Select Family of Staffing Companies, for approximately USD410 million.  MSPE and Constitution Capital acquired EmployBridge for USD165 million in May 2011. MSPE invested in EmployBridge in May 2011, citing strong secular trends in post-recession contingent labor usage by US companies.
