Quest Software (Quest), a global cybersecurity, data intelligence, and IT operations management software provider, announced it signed a definitive agreement with Clearlake Capital Group is to acquire Quest Software (Quest), a global cybersecurity, data intelligence, and IT operations management software provider, from Francisco Partners.  Patrick Nichols, current CEO of Quest, will continue to lead the Company supported by the existing executive management team. Upon closing of the transaction, Clearlake will become the majority shareholder in Quest. Tricor Group (Tricor), an Asian business expansion specialist, has received regulatory approval and completed its acquisition of NZGT Holding Company Limited (NZGT Holdings) together with its wholly owned subsidiaries The New Zealand Guardian Trust Company Limited (Guardian Trust) and Covenant Trustee Services Limited (Covenant) from Complectus Limited. NPIF – Maven Equity Finance, managed by Maven Capital Partners (Maven) and part of the Northern Powerhouse Fund (NPIF), has invested a six-figure funding package in Margin Guardian Ltd (MG), a platform that provides fashion retailers with data insight and targeting services.  Funds will allow the business to invest in its platform, commercialise and develop an android version of its app, in addition to the iOS version, as well as fuel its marketing activities. Blue Motor Finance (Blue), a financing company for used cars in the UK, has successfully completed a syndication of part of its existing GBP300 million forward flow transaction to Standard Chartered Bank (Standard Chartered) and funds managed by Schroders Capital.  This is the first transaction Blue has undertaken with Standard Chartered and Schroders Capital managed funds and continues Blue’s desire to both diversify and extend partnerships across its funding platform. Proptech startup SearchLand has secured a GBP200,000 seed investment to accelerate its development of the world’s first fully automated site sourcing tool. The funding, which came from a number of angel investors, is London-based SearchLand’s first investment to date. The round was part SEIS and part EIS.
