Par Equity’s investments in high-growth technology businesses have smashed through the GBP100 million mark. The milestone was passed when the company completed five investments in a week earlier in October. BCM One, a portfolio company of private equity firm Thompson Street Capital Partners (TSCP), has acquired CoreDial, a provider of white label UCaaS services sold throughout the United States, from members of management and LLR Partners, a Philadelphia-based private equity firm. The acquisition of CoreDial, following BCM One’s previous acquisitions of SkySwitch and Arena One, gives BCM One a significant footprint in the UCaaS space and allows it to serve customers with a variety of leading products. Digital payments company Pomelo Pay (Pomelo) has raised USD10 million in a Series A round led by UK-based independent investment firm Inference Partners.  The investment will allow the company to expand its presence across global markets including Europe and Asia, starting with plans to double their workforce in London, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand and the Philippines.   Launched in 2018 in UK and Singapore, Pomelo allows merchants to digitise their payment infrastructure and take payments from anyone, in any location (physical or digital), at near zero costs.
