TA Associates, a growth private equity firm, has hired two staff members in its Boston office.
Elizabeth de Saint-Aignan (pictured) has joined the firm as a senior vice president in the technology group, and Pamela Bliss Harris has joined TA as vice president – investor relations.
Saint-Aignan focuses on investments in technology-based growth companies. Prior to joining TA, she served as a vice president at Nautic Partners, originating investment opportunities and overseeing portfolio companies on behalf of the firm’s middle-market buyout funds. She was previously a consultant at Bain, an associate at Summit Partners and a financial analyst at Stonegate Partners.
“We are very pleased to welcome Elizabeth to TA,” says Brian Conway, managing director and head of the Boston office technology group at TA Associates. “Her extensive private equity deal experience will prove quite valuable in sourcing and completing recapitalisations, buyouts and minority growth investments of technology-based growth companies.”
Harris focuses on TA’s relationships with the TA Funds’ limited partners. Prior to joining TA, Harris served as a senior analyst at Noble Partners, director of event-oriented investments at Sowood Capital Management, senior analyst at Harvard Management and principal at Capital Resource Partners. Ms. Harris was previously an associate at TA Associates in the healthcare group.
“Pam brings many years of diverse alternative investment and private equity deal experience to the investor relations position,” says Conway. “We welcome Pam back to TA and are confident that she will once again be an outstanding member of our team.”
