Michael Christopher Münnix has joined Munich-based venture capital firm Target Partners as an Associate, effective 1 October. Münnix, who holds a PhD in physics, will mainly be responsible for handling deal flow at Target Partners. He will also support the team in managing the firm’s portfolio companies.

Münnix, 30, is also the author of a number of academic publications and books, including publications on theoretical and solid-state physics. Since 1996, he has been involved in software development projects for various companies and startups. Between 2003 and 2008, he was responsible for software development at ORIMOS Financial Analytics.
