TMF Group becomes UN PRI signatory

TMF Group, a professional and financial services firm, has become a signatory of the UN-supported PRI – Principles in Responsible Investment – enhancing its ethical status and desire to promote responsible investment.

The appointment follows hot on the heels of the company’s EcoVadis Silver Medal rating in July 2021, which puts TMF Group in the top 10 per cent in its sector globally, reflecting its impressive leadership role when it comes to good governance.

The PRI is an independent initiative and the world’s leading proponent of responsible investment. Supported by the UN, it encourages investors and service providers to act responsibly and better manage risks.

More specifically, PRI enables global policymakers to understand the investment implications of environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors and to support its international network of investor signatories in incorporating these factors into their investment and ownership decisions.

Andrew O’Shea, Global Head of Fund Services at TMF Group, states: “We are pleased to sign up to the principles and framework outlined by the UN PRI and are committed to promoting environmental, social and corporate governance within investment decision making and ownership practices.

He adds: “We fully endorse PRI’s approach and consider this move as another way to create awareness and responsible behaviour.”
