Tonka Bay Equity Partners has promoted Vince Thao, who joined the firm in 2022, to Senior Associate, with responsibilities including transaction diligence, structuring, and portfolio governance.
According to a press release, Thao works closely with several existing partner companies, including Corporate Technologies, Fenix, Image AV, Professional Credit, and Standard Locknut, to execute strategic growth initiatives.
Prior to Tonka Bay, Thao spent three years at Blue Ops Partners, where he provided M&A advisory services for middle market private equity clients in addition to holding interim finance & accounting roles for PE-backed portfolio companies.
He started his career in public accounting at Deloitte & Touche, after earning his BA in Accounting and Biology at Saint John’s University and his MBA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
