Treblle, a startup providing developers and companies with an API (application programming interfaces) monitoring and analytics platform has raised EUR1.2 million in a funding round led by Nauta Capital.
With a mission to make working with APIs easier and more efficient, Treblle saves developers and companies time and money in every stage of the API lifecycle from development to post-production.
The use of APIs has exploded exponentially: APIs represent 83 per cent of all web traffic with the number of API calls made in some of the biggest digital brands exceeding tens of billions per day. However, the biggest challenge for those working with APIs is the complexity involved in adequately managing APIs which is often manual and time consuming.
Vedran Cindrić, CEO and Co-Founder of Treblle, says: “Today APIs are everywhere, and the number of API calls are exploding, causing these manual and repetitive processes to become a bottleneck for teams and organisations. While working with APIs we noticed that a lot of time was “wasted” on non-development related tasks such as writing and maintaining documentation, providing support to other developers, debugging user reports, trying to create user steps in bugs and errors.”
“We also noticed that many clients didn’t fully understand what the APIs were, how they worked, how they were being used, and what data was being sent back and forth. That is why we developed a complete solution that makes it super easy to understand and manage APIs for everybody.”
Treblle was founded in 2020 by Vedran Cindrić (CEO) and Darko Blaževic (COO) who after years of working together developing mobile apps and websites with numerous APIs in the background, decided to start Treblle to empower the next API-led digital revolution by streamlining the API development lifecycle.
With a developer community focused approach, to date, Treblle has processed more than two million API requests across 400+ different API endpoints, automatically generated more than 3000 versions of documentation and helped save developers countless hours on debugging.
Nauta Capital’s Venture Partner, Pratima Aiygari, says: “The team has created a solution for one of the top three problems in the API market. Their vision is to build a business that is at the forefront of the API-led digital revolution, and we are excited to support Treblle in that journey.”
Having previously bootstrapped, Treblle plans to use the fresh capital to expand their development team, add more features to the platform as well as accelerate their go-to-market strategy.
