TZP Group has announced the realisation of its investment in email address intelligence business AtData, through its sale to Experian.
AtData was formed in 2021 through the merger of FreshAddress and TowerData. The Company provides enterprise solutions that help businesses optimise first-party data, improve marketing performance, and prevent fraud.
The business has a proprietary database of over 10 billion email profiles and billions of behavioural signals, which it uses to deliver identity matching and enrichment, email verification, fraud detection and prevention, and consumer insights solutions to financial services firms, technology platforms, and consumer brands worldwide.
The transaction was led by Partner Dan Gaspar and Vice President Brett Rosenbluth. AtData was advised by Canaccord Genuity, with a deal team led by Sanjay Chadda, Lexia Schwartz and Harlan Swift. Winston & Strawn served as legal counsel to TZP and AtData.
