Women’s VC fund leads USD1 million funding for Ivycorp

Ivycorp, creators of Ivytalk, a next-generation enterprise messaging network for businesses and organisations, has received an initial USD1 million in Series A investment capital from a combination of investors led by the Women’s Venture Capital Fund.

"Ivycorp is a great example of the large and growing pipeline of women entrepreneurs building capital-efficient but scalable businesses," says Helen MacKenzie, Managing Director at the Women’s Venture Capital Fund. "Mary Jesse, Ivycorp’s CEO, embodies the entrepreneurial spirit that we look for in our investments. Mary’s successful track record as an engineer and telecommunications executive ensures the level of leadership required to bring a vital new messaging technology to market."

"Our technology has been under development since 2008, and now Ivytalk is ready to make the most of market opportunities," says Jesse, Ivycorp’s CEO. "Through a USD2 million Series A investment round, we are launching Ivytalk in targeted industries and applications including emergency management, utility notification, retail, and hospitality. We are extremely honoured to have the support of such a prestigious and knowledgeable group of investors as we bring Ivytalk to market."

Ivytalk sets a new standard for ease of use in creating, organising, and delivering information to mobile devices and social media, as well as the ability to reach virtually any web-enabled device. Ivytalk provides a simple interface that can seamlessly navigate diverse systems, transcending the complexities of each network and system.
